Usborne First Thousand Words in English

This is an all-time Usborne classic from Heather Amery and Stephen Cartwright, this jolly picture book of first words makes picture to word recognition fun. Individual pictures of characters and objects appear around the edge of each page and are labelled in English. Each scene is designed to help readers learn, revise or enrich their vocabulary quickly and enjoyably. It is a delight for very young children to share with an adult, looking at and talking about the pictures, or to pore over on their own.
