The Legend of the Kite a Story of China

Soundprints takes readers on a voyage around the world with books that introduce children to different countries. Storybooks about children from other countries, created by authors and illustrators from those countries, show readers what life is like around the world. Dolls are sculpted and the clothing is designed for the true ethnicity of the country featured. Every spring the Festival of the Kite is celebrated in China. When a boy’s kite flies away from him, his grandfather tells him the legend behind the celebration, encouraging the boy to build a new, more beautiful kite.
