Elections

Elections begins by explaining what an election is. The main aspects of Austalia’s electoral system are explained, including who can vote, who can stand for election, and how elections are called. There are sections on federal elections, state and territory elections, and local council elections, with an account of the different voting methods used. There is also a special section on changing the Australian Constitution.
