Lion in the Long Grass

It is early morning on the African plain. A lion cub waits alone for his mother to return from hunting.
Who will protect him against circling jackals and other hungry predators as the sun rises high in the sky and the insects gather?
A touching story about an old lion who befriends a vulnerable cub. Written by the author and illustrator, Ruth Brown, and illustrated by her husband, Ken. This is their first picture book collaboration together.
