Lemmy Was a Diver

Meet Lemmy, a six-year-old boy whose imagination knows no bounds. Follow his adventures under the sea, in the clouds and to the stars.
Lemmy is at the seaside being a diver and he has a fierce rival, Bully Boy McCoy, who is much bigger than him. When Lemmy finds a treasure chest full of gold on the sea floor they tussle over it, and Lemmy wins by bopping his rival on the nose! Now he’s rich, Lemmy goes to the fairground, and takes to the air, becoming a pilot in a Round-the-World Race. Wouldn’t you know it, Bully Boy McCoy is the only pilot who might match his speed – but doesn’t, quite! And so then there’s just the stars to conquer, as Lemmy clambers into the playground climbing frame…
Told in an upbeat bouncy rhythm this new nursery rhyme has all the originality and wit that makes Colin McNaughton’s picture books stand out as sheer comic genius.
