Little Big Mouth

Jeanne Willis lives in London and often visits schools. Her many books have won the Silver Medal Smarties Prize, the Nasen Special Needs Award, the Sheffield Children’s Book Award and the Red House Children’s Book Award.

Lydia Monks, the widely celebrated English author and illustrator of children’s books, finds that her main sources of inspiration come from everyday life. And from everyday life comes three kooky and original picture story books about animals that are delightfully dysfunctional. There is a cat that wishes she was a dog, a spider that wants to become part of a family and a donkey who thinks he is an alarm clock. This September, her latest release More Eee-Orrh! will join Aaaarrgghh Spider! and I Wish I Were a Dog (new in board book in September) as Lydia Monks titles that are destined to become best-loved children’s books.
