Tail-End Charlie

During the course of World War II, many airmen lost their lives fighting in the skies above Europe. Off all the dangerous jobs to do on board a bomber plane, the tail gunner was by far the most hazardous. This is the true story of Charlie Manning, a tail-gunner who flew with his crew in a B25 Mitchell.

Exciting and young text, perfect to use as an introduction to the Second World War.
