A Knight of the Word

Five years have passed since the cataclysmic events of Running with the Demon. And those years have been hard on John Ross, a Knight of the Word sworn to fight the eternal battle against mankind’s demons. For in saving the world from the horror of the Void, he has lost his spirit, his belief and, it seems his magic. But Nest Freemark, whose own childhood was shattered by those events five years ago, is about to be drawn once more into the mythic world of the Word and the Void. She learns that John Ross is in great danger from a demon like no other. And if she doesn’t warn him in time – and if he can’t be persuaded to take up once again his staff of magic – the battle may be lost forever. A Knight of the Word is a powerful and heart-stopping novel of courage and belief from a master storyteller of fantasy fiction.
