Rara the Cheeky Little Elephant

Rara the elephant was born deep in the jungle of Thailand. Her name, Rara, means ‘naughty girl’ in Thai. Yet little Rara was only sometimes naughty – but she was always cheeky. That’s what made Rara, Rara! This is the story of Rara, and her early days with Mamma in the jungle, followed by her happy years working as a resort elephant and her delight in playing with the tourist children. It is a gentle story, and the first book to be beautifully written and illustrated by Cathy Scollo.
