Twelve Days of Christmas

Emma can’t wait to open a present she finds in the closet. It’s beautiful globe that holds a partridge in a pear tree–and Emma breaks it! Luckily Santa comes to the rescue, taking her to a place that kids can only dream about–the North Pole! While his sleigh flies through the sky, they are joined by two turtle doves, then three French hens…soon it’s like a parade! Each of the traditional gifts comes as a fresh surprise as the lively visual storyline unfolds. Yes, the geese are a’laying and the lords are a’leaping! And in his workshop, Santa finds a way to make a little girl’s biggest wish come true. Splendidly rendered in Susan Jeffers’s richly-detailed and colorful style, this jovial interpretation of a timeless favorite is sure to please.
