The Big Freeze

Discover how Shackleton, Scott and other polar explorers have bravely ventured to the coldest, most dangerous places on Earth, suffering: frostbite – taking off their boots to find that their toes have come off too; blizzards – being unable to see, hear or speak in a ‘whiteout’ world; crevasses – dangling on a rope over a drop so deep the bottom can’t be seen; and animal attacks – coming face to face with a very angry polar bear. Your journey is just beginning. Nobody knows how it will end.
