The Wings of Kitty ST Clair

Kitty’s parents are travelling aeroplane flyers, wowing each town they settle in with their aerobatics; loops, dives and parachute jumping. When they settle in the town of St Helen, Kitty’s mother decides that this might be the place to end their nomadic lifestyle so Kitty can have a normal upbringing with a stable school education and keep the friend she has already made in St Helen, Louise. But her distant father (an injured war soldier) is not so sure.
When a tragic plane accident takes the life of Fay St Clair, Kitty’s father must make some serious decisions about Kitty’s future, and her refusal to speak as a result of her mother’s death makes this doubly difficult.
