The Girl Who Fell into a Book

Annie loves to read, and she loves books about fairies most of all. Her parents think she reads too much: ‘If you’re not careful you’ll get lost in that book’, they say. One day, while Annie is reading her favourite fairy story, she discovers a small blue boy fairy, Bizzleflug, hovering at her shoulder. She has just entered fairyland, and she herself has become a fairy! But fairyland is a far more perilous place than she has imagined it to be, and suddenly she finds herself on a mission to save the fairies from a predatory cat. When she succeeds, the fairies offer her anything she wants as a reward. But Annie wants only to go home. She can’t wait to fall into another book!
