Blind Trek
Hilton is a country boy who lost his sight in an accident when he was a young boy. Learning to cope with his disability hasn’t been easy, and he has suffered self-esteem problems since his blindness. When a deaf boy from the city comes to Hilton’s town to live, Hilton’s parents are sure that the two will get along just fine. Hilton has other ideas; the last thing he needs is some city kid pushing into his life on his parents’ isolated property. But his parents won’t take sullen silence for an answer and Hilton, having ignored the fact that Tim (the city boy) has a hearing disability, sets off to show the new kid around on a tour that threatens his life, his dog’s life and his sense of self pity.
