Wayne has a life full of hassles. He’s sixteen and stuck at home, his mum is on his back about every little thing and now his best mates are moving to NSW. Thank god for his crazy yellow dog, Ernie! But once his mates move, he faces an all-time low. And when a chance encounter with a farmer ends in disaster for Ernie, Wayne has to find the courage and strength to carry on.
