Our Century a Journey Through This Century

Our Century is based on the hugely popular Channel Nine television series of the same name – a series that has evoked emotion and nostalgia in a nation of people who pride themselves on their Australianness… and their uniqueness. Our Century, the book, charts Australia’s progress over the last 100 years – from its birth as a nation, through its adolescence, to its maturity – from Federation to the future. Our Century is about the characters who shaped our history and developed our national ethos. It is about the circumstances that made us laugh and made us cry, that brought us down and raised us up. It celebrates our achievements; it reminds us of what has yet to be done. Somewhere in this book is your story, telling of your people, your place, your century.
