Sky Boy

“Let me tell you a story” the old man said. Teresa looked after her baby brother when he was born. Called Sky Boy because of his unusual blue eyes her father thought he’d been brought by bad fairies. Rowing to the island with Rosa, the cow to do the plowing, a storm blows up and the boat sinks. Teresa’s courage and love saves them all. Beautifully written text is complemented by lovely watercolour illustrations and will appeal to young and middle readers.
