The Duck Catcher

Gombei catches one duck a day because that’s all he needs, but when the days get cold he decides to catch a hundred ducks so he won’t have to work all winter. He sets a hundred rope traps and as the ducks fly down to feed he pulls the strings and they are trapped. But then Gombei walks into a trap too. Wonderfully illustrated and told in a traditional style by two well-known Australians.
