The Boy Who Lost His Face

A light-hearted story about a boy who believes he has been cursed by an old woman whom he has “flipped off” or as Australian children would say “given the finger to”. As David believes in the curse he begins to self inflict the same punishments as he and his friends had meted out to Mrs Bayfield. With some almost slapstick scenes combined with the serious issues of teenage peer group pressure and family relationships and all revolving around David’s growing relationship with Tori this book will appeal to the young teenage reader.
