The Wild,wild West

In The Wild, Wild West you can find out about the cowboys who rounded up the great herds of cattle and drove them hundreds of kilometres to the cow towns of Kansas – and about the trouble they caused when they got there. You can learn about outlaws, such as Jesse James, Billy the Kid and Belle Starr, who robbed banks, stage coaches and trains, and about the lawmen, including Wyatt Earp and Pat Garret, who pursued them. You can also discover how the Native American peoples fought a desperate, losing battle to hold on to the lands they had roamed for thousands of years before the arrival of white settlers.
