The Secret World of Briar Rose

A century ago, Princess Amelia was cursed into eternal sleep, leaving the kingdom of Gyldan in ruins.

Sixteen-year-old thief Corin dismisses the story as a fairy-tale . . . until her sister Elly runs away to find the sleeping princess.

Corin follows her sister’s trail to a buried, ancient castle and a portal to Amelia’s subconscious. Elly has found a paradise of ice castles, sunflower mazes and star-filled oceans, where the sleeping princess’s dream alter-ego, Briar Rose, lives in eternal spring – and even the demon who cursed her, Malicine, reigns over a wintry wonderland.

When Corin learns about Amelia’s past – and the secrets hidden deep in this world of dreams – she must decide whether to stay . . . or return to the waking world, with all its horrors, and fight for a better life.
