Nope! A Tale of First Flight

The time has come for Little Bird to take flight. What could be waiting for him out in the world? A snarling wildcat? Vicious wolves? Hungry crocodiles?! “Nope!” he proclaims. Leaving the nest is not an option. But Mama Bird’s ‘ kisses and cuddles–and a swift but encouraging kick out of the nest–help the tiny bird soar. Sweetly (and humorously!) told, Nope by author-illustrator Drew Sheneman is a heartwarming debut with appeal to both kids and parents.
