Leo and Lea

Friendship meets Fibonacci when Leo, who loves maths, meets Lea, who loves art. Leo has a unique way of experiencing the world. When other children hear words, he sees numbers. And so the days go by—1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34—still no friends for Leo. Not even the new kid, a shy girl named Lea, who shares his desk. One day, when 55 bulbs poke up in spring, a dramatic event on the playground brings the two children together in friendship and understanding.
