America's Wetlands

Swamps, marshes, bogs, and fens-all of these places are wetlands. Wetlands cover only a small part of the earth’s total land area. Yet they are all important habitats for plants and wildlife, and they are vanishing at an alarming rate. In America’s Wetlands, you’ll learn how to recognise a wetland and find out why some wetlands aren’t always wet.
