Tom hates high school, his parents are old fashioned and embarrassing. His mum is always going on about special places and angels passing by and it’s really getting to him. What starts out as a disastrous family trip to one of mum’s special places leads Tom to a better understanding of his parents and himself. This novel deals with peer pressure, struggles of young adolescence and the painful beginnings of growing up.
