Animals on the World's Rare and Endangered Species

World-acclaimed wildlife artist Garry Fleming has long been a passionate
supporter of wild animals, especially endangered species. This book is an
artistic celebration of these animals; each one is featured in a superb, fullcolour,
varnished plate, accompanied by a simple, elegant and informative
text. Written especially for children, this is, above all, a children’s artbook.
The beauty of the artwork itself fosters respect and admiration for the
animal kingdom, and in this way gently yet effectively imparts the book’s
own environmental message.
In November 2005, Garry held his first solo art exhibition in nearly 15 years,
based purely on endangered species. The exhibition all but sold out on the
opening night. The artwork in this book is based on that exhibition.
