Atuk

Atuk, an Inuit boy, vows revenge when a wolf kills his beloved little husky dog. But first Atuk must grow bigger and stronger and learn the skills of hunting and tracking in the sparse yet beautiful northern landscape. Years pass, but Atuk’s bitter determination to kill the wolf does not. Atuk acts on his primitive emotions, but in the end a wise arctic fox and a fragile flower show him that love is stronger – and more satisfying – than hate.
