Big Ugly Monster and the Little Stone Rabbit

Once, in a cave, there lived a horrible ugly monster. He was so ugly that he could turn a blue sky to snow and evaporate a pond by dipping his toe in it. No living thing could stand to be in his presence so he was very lonely. One day he decided to build some friends out of stone, but not even stone could bear the monster’s scary smile and all the stone animals shatter… except for one, the little stone rabbit. The monster is very happy with his new friend even if the only game he can play is statues. For a time life is good, but even monsters can’t live forever…
