Blind Fear

This gripping novel in the very popular and successful Crime Waves series, is full of tension and suspense and will hold even the most reluctant reader.
The story is told by Marc, the son of a very successful Gold Coast businessman who has made plenty of money. Money attracts violence, and Marc tells us what has happened to his family to cause them to live in fear. Marc has a close and caring family, but he is particularly close to Nikki, his talented and positive sister, who leads a full life even though she is blind. Then there is Tip, the Thai student who has been living with the family for a year. The three young people are good friends and believe they can handle the strange things that are happening in their lives. But it all gets serious and thus gets beyond them….
The backdrop to Blind Fear is the IndyCar race and the fast-paced action will particularly appeal to boys in the lower secondary years
Blind Fear by Brian Ridden is a well-written, multi-layered and compelling read.
