Cairo Jim Amidst the Petticoats of Artemis

When Captain Neptune Bone and his raven Desdemona discover a white linen garment in an old silver chest in Ephesus, Turkey, it becomes obvious that this is not just another ordinary bit of ancient froufrou. In fact, a bit of research soon confirms that it is the garment of Artemis, goddess of Great Abundance, and that it gives legendary power to she who wears it!

Bone and Desdemona turn up more information about the legendary lingerie, which means a quest throughout Turkey to retrieve other priceless relics that once belonged to Artemis.

It is up to Cairo Jim, that well-known archaeologist and little-known poet, and his friends Doris the macaw and Brenda the Wonder Camel-ably assisted by Ms Meltem Bottnoff, Senior Retriever of Ancientness with the Istanbul Branch of the Antiquities Squad-to try and thwart Bone and the raven in what is perhaps the most astonishingly audacious scheme so far!
