Captain Small Pig

A quietly charming story about spending time with good friends, from the award-winning Martin Waddell and Susan Varley.

Description of book
Old Goat and Turkey take their friend Small Pig rowing on Blue Lake. Small Pig is very excited and wants to go fishing for whales; grumpy Turkey tells him there aren’t any whales in Blue Lake, and has no time for his excitement, but kind Old Goat encourages him. Small Pig catches a boot, which is almost as good, and is even allowed to row for a while. Contented and exhausted from his perfect day, Small Pig falls into a lovely sleep, and dreams of being captain Small Pig, while grumpy Turkey gets his comeuppance in a very entertaining way!
