Catland

The roof has become Rose’s favourite place since coming to stay with her dad and his new family – anything that gets her away from her squabbling stepsisters, Raine and Summer. From there she also has a bird’s eye view of the neighbours – including the mysterious Nydia Raymond, who Summer informs her is a witch. Rose’s snooping reveals a different story: Nydia rescues and rehabilitates stray cats. When Rose discovers the truth, she sets out to help Nydia adopt out as many of the abandoned felines as possible. There’s just one problem: Rose’s stepmum is running for local council and her campaign is all about ridding the neighbourhood of excess cats . . .
