Children's Stories from the Bible

This is a collection of Bible stories from the Old and New Testaments, specially chosen and retold for children, with beautiful illustrations on every page. Stories from the Old Testament include how God created the world, and well known characters such as Noah, Moses, Joseph, Jonah, Samson and Delilah. It tells the familiar and beautiful stories from the New Testament of the birth of Jesus, how he found the twelve disciples, and the Last Supper. This book offers the perfect introduction to the Bible for children, carefully selecting some of the most popular and accessible stories and retelling them in a way even the youngest listeners will relate to. With delightful illustrations on every page the book introduces well-loved characters from the Old Testament, and includes other less-frequently told tales to encourage children to explore further. Using tales from both Testaments to introduce God, the Christmas story, the life and works of Jesus, and the first Christians, the stories will not only entertain young listeners but will also introduce them to some of life’s universal themes.
