Colours a First Art Book

Following “Animals: A First Art Book”, the second in this innovative series for very young children introduces them to colour in art. 18 exciting paintings from every corner of the globe are presented in child-friendly forms – flowers, birds, trees, nautical scenes, sunsets and bold portraits – the basic palette of colours with which our world is painted, accompanied by the briefest possible text. The artists represented, who span four centuries, range from old masters to some of today’s most renowned painters, and notes on the paintings can be found at the back of the book.
