Family ties can leave you in knots. Lisa Atwood is spending Thanksgiving in California. But so much has happened in the past months that she can’t relax and enjoy herself. Then her brother arrives with a big surprise, throwing the family into turmoil and making Lisa question what she has to be thankful for.
Stevie Lake was grounded because of a party that got way out of control, but she’s finally finished with her punishment. Unfortunately, none of her friends are around to spend time with her. Still, she should be thankful, shouldn’t she? Meanwhile, Carole Hanson has finally confessed to cheating on a test at school. After all the guilt, she’s almost glad that she got caught, but now the punishment starts– no riding and absolutely no Pine Hollow. Suddenly she doesn’t feel like celebrating at all. In fact, the holiday spirit is in very short supply this year!
