Daring World War 2 Stories for Boys

These three thrilling wartime adventures transport the reader to the heat of battle. Depth-charge Danger sees submariner John Smith on a top-secret mission to Norway using the experimental and dangerous X-craft. Night Bomber takes the action to the sky as John prepares to risk his life to destroy the German V2-rocket factory. Island of Fear follows John during the invasion of the Pacific island Iwo Jima, one of the Second World War’s most ferocious battles. Riveting fictionalised accounts, packed with historical detail, give a new immediacy to the Second World War that will enthral young readers.
