Desert Danger

Set in Egypt during the decisive Battle of El Alamein in 1942, this is the tale of a young man serving with the British Eighth Army that defeated German forces. In a vividly imagined and historically accurate narrative, readers are taken on a first-hand journey of danger and peril in which Tim desperately tries to keep his hands steady and nerves calm so he can move mines and clear a path for the army to move forward.
