Diamond Spirit

‘Hey, Dimey, you’re going on a holiday.’ Jess ran a soft brush over Diamond’s sides, making the pony’s golden coat shine like liquid metal in the sun. Among the
speckles and dots scattered on her hindquarters were three distinct silver diamonds, one below the other, like falling stars.
Jess’s horse Diamond is about to have a well-earned rest over the summer. Then disaster strikes. All at once, Jess is faced with the loss of her beloved pony and the
loss of her best friend, her soul-sissy, Shara. It’s the worst time of her life – until new friends, and the chance to compete in the Longwood campdraft, bring an unexpected
resolution.
