Dipper's Fabulous Fantastic Footy Fun and Fact Boo

The greatest game in the world has been turned into the greatest book in the world! Dipper’s Fabulous Fantastic Footy Fun (& Fact) Book is full of lively and brain-expanding information, footy club facts, quizzes and games to keep footy-crazed kids endlessly entertained.
“Dipper”, or Robert DiPierdomenico, is the moustachioed, larger-than-life Hawthorn legend who is famous with kids across the country for his work as AFL Auskick Ambassador. With a girl and a boy of his own and years of Australia-wide Auskick footy clinics under his belt, Dipper knows how to ring kids’ bells. His book will delight and challenge kids with its bags of interactive, footy-related facts and fun – plus cool puzzles and games. Dipper will spill the beans about very important information such as the height of goalposts, the greatest goalkicker ever, amazing coaches – even how the famous football itself is made. He’ll tell kids all about all the clubs, his favourite Australian Football legends – and share a few secrets about himself (did you know that he combs his moustache twice a day?!). And, because Dipper knows best, his book will also offer tips on diet, health and fitness.
Dipper knows it’s more than a game – it’s a whole book of games!

Robert Dipierdomenico

Robert DiPierdomenico is one of Australian football’s most popular personalities and is the public face of the AFL’s Auskick program. “Dipper”, as he is known, started playing football with Hawthorn in 1975 after being recruited from North Kew, but had to serve a long “apprenticeship” before he established himself as a Hawk regular in 1978. A five-time Hawk premiership player, he went on to play 240 games to 1991, represented Victoria and Australia (in the International Rules Series against Ireland) and won a Brownlow Medal in 1986.
