Dogstar Novelisation

The year is 2347. After many years of pollution, Old Earth has become smelly and disgusting. New Earth (another planet in the solar system) is clean – just ripe for a sensitive eco-friendly make-over. The entire population of Old Earth and all their possessions are packed into spaceships and shot off into space. But somewhere in-between, all the dogs go missing on their spacecraft, the Dogstar. The Clark kids aren’t going to take this lying down, however, and they set out to find the Dogstar and their pet pooch, Hobart. But not everyone wants the Clarke kids to succeed. Bob Santino, an evil genius, has invented the Robog – a robotic replacement dog that he’s sold very successfully to those people on New Earth who are pining for the real thing. If the kids find the Dogstar, he’ll suddenly be out of business. Surely it’s only a matter of time before he finds the Clark kids – or better yet, the Dogstar.
