Effie the Outrageous Elf

Effie Redwood is fed up. She’s a natural-born entertainer who doesn’t like sitting still. She doesn’t fit in with the other forest elves, who like sitting quietly and thinking deep thoughts. So when a circus train roars through the forest, Effie decides she has finally found a place where she belongs, and runs away to join the circus. On the way she meets the Polly-Fae, an imp with parrot DNA. It has brought her an invitation to Hags’ Academy of Badness, a school for bad fairies. Suddenly the idea of being outrageous starts to look very good…
