Zorro and Eulalia encounter two crazed balloonists who are in a fierce race against each other, each hoping to impress the woman they are obsessed with: Holly Go-Forth. But there is a diminutive, female Iago among them, Holly’s supposed best friend, Misery Martinez. Misery’s manipulations escalates the tension between the rival balloon men, provoking each to hire a mercenary to protect them — the cold, corpse-like Strike Bayonet, and the fiery ‘Red” Sharpshooter! Zorro fights with sword and whip and flintlock, ending up in a life or death battle atop one of the air balloons. Zorro is in peril, above, then below the balloon, even hanging from its side. And all might crash-land before they can reach the finish line in New Orleans!
