Gris Grimly's Frankenstein

You know the story, but you’ve never seen it like this. Gris Grimly, New York Time bestselling-illustrator, has long considered Mary Shelley’s classic tale of terror to be one of his greatest inspirations. Now, he is paying homage to it with a lavishly illustrated full-length adaptation. Using an abridged version of the original text, Gris is adorning each page with illustrations, creating a world inside a book that is part graphic novel, part prose novel, and all vintage Gris Grimly. The result is a version of the tale unlike any that has ever been seen before, on the page or in the theater – a frightfully fresh version of the tale that is at once classic and contemporary, and one that could only be experienced in this form. The final package will be an experience that is graphic, tactile, frightening, and exhilarating, a staggering work of twisted genius from one of children’s books’ most unique talents.
