Henry's Holiday

Gillian Shields is a new talent in picture books and is set to make a very strong impression with her first book, Ben and Gran. She writes both picture books and full-length children’s fiction, using her experience as a drama teacher for inspiration. Gillian lives a busy life, both writing and teaching, and lives in Sussex with her husband, two children and a little brown dog.

Rosie Reeve originally trained as a fine artist, but became interested in writing and illustrating children’s books after having children of her own. She loves to write about and paint “real children” in their own world doing “real things”.
