Highlights Set 1: Teaching Guide

The Highlights! Teaching Guide includes suggested classroom activities and work sheets designed to support the school use of Highlights!. They include:

– Generic activities and work sheets that can be adapted to any of the books at this level.
– Book specific activities for before and/or after reading
– Three work sheets per book

The generic activities are provided as prompts for the teacher’s own creativity in using the books that make up the series. For convienience of use, the activities are grouped by major-skill and presented as instructions directed at students. These generic activities are supplemented by book-specific activities and work sheets.
