I Survived the Hindenburg Disaster, 1937 Graphic

A vividly rendered graphic novel adaptation of Lauren Tarshis’s bestselling I Survived the Hindenburg Disaster, 1937 with text adapted by Georgia Ball and art by Mike Deas. The biggest flying machine ever built is about to crash… For Hugo Ballard, flying on the Hindenburgis a dream come true. Hugo, his parents, and his younger sister, Gertie, are making the thrilling four-thousand-mile journey across the Atlantic Ocean in a zeppelin as big as the Titanic. But as the Hindenburg gets ready to land, a blast rocks the airship and fire consumes it entirely in a mere thirty-two seconds. In the moment of the explosion, Hugo finds himself separated from his family and in a desperate race to escape the flames. The Hindenburg is doomed – and so, it seems, is Hugo. Can he survive this historic disaster?
