Three thousand, three hundred years ago, while still a child, Tutankhamen became pharaoh of Egypt. He was loved by his people, and when he died at 19 years old, he was encased in gold and buried in the Valley of the Kings. After six years of searching, an Englishman named Howard Carter found the tomb. Now the treasures from Tutankhamen’s tomb are in the museum in Cairo, for all to see.
