In Flanders Fields

Early one Christmas morning the guns cease firing and an eerie silence settles over the ruined landscape. A young soldier looks through a periscope over the top of the trench and sees a small red shape moving on the barbed wire, way out in no-man’s-land. A brightly coloured robin is trapped. A beautifully illustrated and moving story that gives an insight into the real people involved in the Great War.
