In the Dark of the Night

Distinguished children’s writer Paul Stewart has written an enchanting and lyrical read-aloud story, magically illustrated by Tim Vyner.

It is bed time, but even in the warmth of his cosy den, a young cub cannot sleep. And Papa Wolf knows why. The time has come for him to take his young son out into the dark of the night. The cub senses danger everywhere in the shadow-filled forest. One by one, Papa soothes away the cub’s fears – but it is not until they reach their destination in the mountains that he reveals the most wonderful thing of all.
