Interrupting Chicken: Cookies for Breakfast

Little red chicken and her papa are back in this third book in the bestselling and award-winning Interrupting Chicken picture book series.

It’s morning and Papa would like to sleep a bit longer, but his loving and exuberant little chicken wants breakfast – cookies for breakfast! Papa tries to buy himself a bit more rest by offering to read some nursery rhymes, but soon Humpty Dumpty is falling … for cookies! With so many pointed interruptions, Papa has no choice but to get out of bed and make his little one something sweet for breakfast. This is another funny, affectionate celebration of reading, parenthood, and creative license.
